1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve their performance, and provide information to website operators.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are used on the Ricorda website (https://ricorda.co.uk) and how you can manage them.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website and payment functionality to work. They cannot be switched off. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent.

2.2 Analytics Cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the Ricorda website and which actions are useful. Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is sent unless you enable Analytics in our preferences banner.

Analytics events may include page views and interactions such as opening the waitlist form, selecting a plan, completing a waitlist submission, or selecting an app download link. We configure advertising storage, advertising user data and personalised advertising as denied.

2.3 Marketing Cookies

With your consent, the main Ricorda marketing page uses Meta Pixel and consent-gated server-side conversion measurement to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and help show Ricorda advertising to relevant beauty and wellness professionals. Meta Pixel is not loaded and no marketing data is sent unless you enable Marketing in our preferences banner. We do not use these Meta advertising tools in the Ricorda mobile apps or on client booking, invitation or consent pages.

Cookie Name Provider Purpose Duration
_fbp Meta Pixel Distinguishes browsers for advertising measurement and delivery. Up to 90 days
_fbc Meta Pixel Stores a Facebook ad click identifier when a visitor arrives from a Meta advertisement. Up to 90 days

Marketing events are limited to page views and actions on the main sales flow, such as opening the free-trial flow and completing a trial registration. When a visitor who enabled Marketing creates a new trial invitation, our server may send the registration event to Meta using Meta’s own browser or ad-click identifier (_fbp or _fbc). We do not send Meta names, email addresses, clinic names, patient information, treatment information, health data, form-field contents, IP addresses or browser user-agent strings with this event.

3. How to Manage Cookies

You can enable or reject Analytics and Marketing independently when the preferences banner appears. You can change your choices at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the website footer. Withdrawing consent disables the relevant collection and removes the associated first-party Google Analytics or Meta Pixel cookies set for the Ricorda website.

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
